Vasaloppet – the 90 km Ski marathon (100307)
After lunch with Liz I spent most of the evening packing and preparing to go to Mora together with John and Johnny (my cousing and a friend of his) the following day. We parked the car in Mora and then had a friend of Johnny take us to Sälen where the Vasaloppet would start early on Sunday. Going to bed early we then woke up at 04:45 to make sure we would be at the starting lines at 06:00…at 08:00 the race set off and at 18:29 I passed the goal line both physically and mentally exhausted.

Overall I am very happy I made it through the whole race even though I missed my own goal of finishing before 18:00.
A BIG, BIG thank you to all the wonderful texts, phone calls, MSNs and emails I’ve gotten from friends congratulating me of finishing…it has meant a lot more than you might think =).
Monday I was mostly just home recovering trying to give some sore muscles rest but in the evening I managed to meet up with Sofie for a dinner. Today (100309) I had a business lunch before heading to Farsta to meet up with Frida for some help on shopping a spring jacket but now I’m off to bed!
Tomorrow I’m leaving for Åre and returning on Sunday will be my last day “between” two jobs as I’m starting full time with Ecapay on Monday the 15th (where my first thing will be to go over to London to organize and set up our office there)
